“Breaking Down Barriers in Education: Access, Empowerment and Opportunity”

Thursday, April 2, 2020
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Center for the Arts, UB North Campus

This year's theme — “Breaking Down Barriers in Education: Access, Empowerment & Opportunity” — challenges students to reimagine the ways in which our research can help to dismantle barriers at all levels of education –  reimagining the possibilities of 21st-century education through the lens of their own research.  Presentations may discuss theories, models, empirical findings or practices that further the role of educational institutions in today’s society and improve the lives of learners.  We encourage presenters to envision their work as a critical conversation for improving the educational experiences for every student.
