From school-based programs throughout Western New York to nationally recognized research institutes, the students, faculty and staff at the Graduate School of Education play a critical role in the communities we serve.
d88尊龙|首页At UB, we are proud to partner with dozens of schools and school districts within the eight counties of Western New York. Here, we have the opportunity to work with an exceptionally diverse population, including inner-city schools in Buffalo (and their large international and refugee communities), suburban districts and rural communities.
This is a collection of guidance, tips and suggestions for the communities we serve. These resources come from our expert faculty, dedicated alumni and passionate students who continue the work outlined in our mission statement: The Graduate School of Education is an inclusive community that works to improve educational, social and economic opportunities for people and communities. This is a developing list. Please stop back in for updates and new material.
d88尊龙|首页One of the most impactful ways that we partner with local schools is through our innovative Faculty In Residence program, which places faculty members from the Graduate School of Education inside a Western New York school, where they spend their time working directly with administrators, teachers and students.
Through this program, the schools benefit by gaining direct access to an experienced professional who can help address some of their most pressing needs. In return, our faculty receive hands-on, practical experience that further enhances their ability to teach, conduct groundbreaking research, and publish their work in journals and textbooks.
If your school is interested in participating in the Faculty In Residence program, share your specific needs and collaborative project ideas. Please contact the Dean's Office.
